I did not begin life as a painter, I began as a dreamer, and a person who wanted to write stories.

I started painting as a young wife and mother after I received my first brush and 5 tubes of acrylic paint for Mother’s Day in the 1970s. I loved painting from the moment I made that first stroke and saw those beautiful colors.

Over the years, I’ve painted pictures as gifts, donated them as raffle items, sold and bartered my work at art/craft shows, and sold paintings to businesses and individual art collectors across the nation.

As so often happens with things that find their way into your heart and soul, I came by painting accidentally, but I’m glad I did. Here I am, painting pictures that people love to receive because I customize each one and make it very special when I add your name or the names of friends or loved ones, or whomever else you choose to make a personalized part of the painting!

Personalized Art Prints
Personalized art prints are a wonderful and unique way to celebrate all occasions and remember special events and situations from days gone by.  Personalized art can honor a family, a  couple, or an individual. Personalized art can identify and celebrate the unique skills, talents, hobbies, hopes, and dreams of any person who receives such a gift.

About the prints
Each print is first created in my own studio here in Salem, Oregon. I use watercolor and/or acrylics on watercolor paper. The original is then professionally reproduced on premium, fade resistant, acid free, lignin free, ph neutral paper for superior ink contrast and brilliant color. In order to ensure more durable and longer lasting prints, they are reproduced on 62 lb. paper for the 8.5 x 11” prints and 110 lb. paper for the larger prints.

About the personalization
Names or initials (and in some cases, the date) of your choice will be hand painted in the appropriate location. After you make your print selection(s) and before confirmation of your order, you will be offered the opportunity to indicate the names and other pertinent information you want painted on the print.

Care of your print
To help prevent fading, prints should not be displayed in direct sunlight. For best display results, prints should be matted and framed under glass.
